LAOAG CITY — The Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC) has advised consumers to take the necessary preparation and precaution for a scheduled power interruption set on Saturday, August 12.
Starting from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the power outage will affect the whole municipalities of Burgos, Bangui, and Dumalneg.
Residents of Pasuquin town except Barangay Santa Catalina and the whole of Pagudpud except Barangays Balaoi, Pancian and Pasaleng, Bacarra town except Pasngal, Cabusligan, Cadaratan and Pungto villages will also experience power interruption.
<p>Noel Andres, Information, Education and Communication officer of INEC, said the power interruption is due to maintenance and upgrading of Northwind power firm and INEC. He said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. (PNA)
