Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA), a regional senior living development and operating company based in Vero Beach, Fla., continues its strategic expansion by opening four new communities this year with 13 more in the works. New planned communities in Delaware, New Jersey and Washington DC will expand HRA’s geographic footprint and add to its diverse portfolio of senior living communities. All the new construction and community openings represent a large expansion of the growing senior living company.

“We’re excited to continue rolling out our distinctive brand of senior living to new cities and markets,” said Tim Smick, CEO of Harbor Retirement Associates. “This latest expansion demonstrates our commitment to offering the very best in senior living to families across the country. All of these communities will provide meaningful jobs for local citizens, and we are very much looking forward to adding more residents and associates to the HRA family.”

Recent communities opened by HRA include HarborChase of Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida, HarborChase of Shorewood in Shorewood, Wisconsin, HarborChase of Naperville in Naperville, Illinois, and HarborChase of Plano in Plano, Texas. Nine additional HRA communities are currently under construction, including: HarborChase of McKinney in McKinney, Texas, HarborChase of Southlake in Southlake, Texas, HarborChase of Palm Beach Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, HarborChase of Park Cities in Dallas, Texas, HarborChase of Long Grove in Long Grove, Illinois, HarborChase of Mandarin in Jacksonville, Florida, HarborChase of Wildwood in Wildwood, Florida, HarborChase of Wilmington in Wilmington, Delaware and HarborChase of Wellington Crossing in Wellington, Florida.

“We believe that families nationwide are looking for a modern and innovative interpretation of assisted living and memory care,” said Charlie Jennings, Chief Development Officer of Harbor Retirement Associates. “HRA offers a meaningful lifestyle with modern and luxurious amenities that are well above current industry standards. Our new residents are going to joyfully discover new homes where they want to live, rather than somewhere they have to go.”

Additional communities are also in the works. These new communities will add additional geographic areas to HRA’s regional footprint. HarborChase of Dr. Phillips in Orlando, Florida, features 186 units and is opening in summer of 2018. In the first quarter of 2017, construction will begin on an additional four communities. These new communities include: HarborChase of Wilmington in Wilmington, Delaware, HarborChase of Riverwalk in Rock Hill, South Carolina, HarborChase of Wellington Crossing in West Palm Beach, Florida, and HarborChase of Prince William Commons in Washington D.C.. Construction also begins next fall on HarborChase of South Brunswick in South Brunswick, New Jersey.

“Our unique approach to senior care was developed by a highly experienced team of professionals with a true commitment to delivering quality senior care services while exemplifying compassion and respect,” said Sarabeth Hanson, Chief Operating Officer of HRA. “All of our associates are carefully selected, not only for their dedication to enrich the lives of each individual resident, but for their warm and caring hearts.”
HRA is committed to anticipating the needs of a new generation of seniors, with innovation being a recurring theme in all community designs. All communities will feature HRA’s signature Life Enrichment Program, designed to provide social, devotional, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on residents. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on the company’s core values, viewed as the cornerstones of the organization.

“Our core values of respect, attentiveness, integrity, stewardship and excellence have guided this company from the beginning,” said Smick. “Our first priority is the make life engaging, enjoyable and active for our residents.”

Typical HRA community features include full-service dining, housekeeping and laundry services, and a dedicated staff of nurses available 24 hours a day. All communities feature the exclusive Chef’s Fare Dining Program with customized dining experiences in multiple venues. John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
