Filipino seafood exporters bagged close to $6.5 million worth of sales at the Boston Seafood Show, which the Philippine Department of Agriculture hosted last Feb. 24-26.

Philippine exporters in the show were Bluefin Seafood Export Inc., JNMercado Seafood Supply, Anio Farms, Fisher Farm Inc., Jarla Trading, MS Seafood and F.A.B. Sea Resources Corp.

Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap said the export deals covered tuna, octopus, milkfish and value-added seafood products like fish, ham and sausages, “adobo” and teriyaki milkfish.

The Boston fair is the largest seafood exhibition in the United States, attracting close to 18,000 buyers across the globe.
