MANILA, Philippines — As the restructured power industry ups the ante for a competitive environment, power utility giant Manila Electric Company (Meralco) continues with its capital projects on
network expansion and improvements.
“These projects, which are all part of our approved capital expenditure program, will reinforce our electric distribution system and further improve electric service to our customers,†Meralco executive vice president and networks head Ricardo V. Buencamino has noted.
Toward the closing months of 2011, the company bared that it completed additional seven electric capital projects which reinforced the load capacity of its distribution network.
