The First Consolidated Bank will open tomorrow its new branch office for its Tagbilaran City downtown branch and at the same time three new branches in Iloilo, Antique and Albay.
FCB Vice President N. Tolentino Gallares said the opening of the new branch premises and new branches is in line with the ongoing program of the bank to upgrade its branch premises and facilities and to strengthen its reach and capabilities in growth centers and the countryside.
The FCB Tagbilaran downtown branch will move from Metro Centre Hotel Bldg. to its new location along M.H. del Pilar Street.
The new FCB branches and their locations: FCB Iloilo Branch, West Diversion Rd., Dungon-A, Jaro, Iloilo City; FCB San Jose Branch, Bantayan St., San Jose, Antique; and FCB Legaspi City Branch, Rizal St., Legaspi City, Albay.
All but two of the new branches of the bank are two-storey building. FCB Tagbilaran Downtown Branch and FCB Iloilo City Branch are a one-storey and three-storey buildings, respectively.
FCB has opened a total of four new branches this year. Last May FCB opened its Maramag Branch in Maramag, Bukidnon to serve the vast agricultural areas in Bukidnon and nearby municipalities of South Cotabato and Lanao del Sur.
With the opening of these branches, FCB has now 45 branches and 16 marketing and promotional centers nationwide, making the bank one of the biggest private development banks in the country.
