Society of the Vulgar
« on: December 21, 2007, 12:13:01 AM »
B. G. Jefferis and J. L. Nichols

Do you love the society of the vulgar? Then
you are already debased in your sentiments. Do you seek to be with
the profane? In your heart you are like them. Are jesters and buffoons
your choice friends? He who loves to laugh at folly is himself a fool.
Do you love and seek the society of the wise and good? Is this your
habit? Had you rather take the lowest seat among these than the
highest seat among others? Then you have already learned to be good.
You may not make very much progress, but even a good beginning is not
to be despised.

Romans 10:9
"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

Michael, I like this. I agree with this.

People should not laugh at other people or poke fun of other people, because, in the end, it represents a sense of weakness on their own part. Or in psychology pa, it is projection.

Para nako, let there be peace, pero, unsaon man jud, dili man tanan mo believe in peace kai ilang natural inclination is to poke fun of others and nothing but destructive criticism. It reflects their own nature and character. Destructive and utterly ugly.

Mo ampo na lang ta para nila. They cannot help it man.
