I've been married for 15 years now.
Pero wala mi mag-uban sa ako spouse since day one.
... because of work & business related nga pagpaningkamot.
... all we do is put trust to one another, pray to God for
guidance.
dili ba lisud ang ingun ani nga set up bai gwargz, i guess daghang trials ang inyung naagi an.

dili ba lisud ang ingun ani nga set up bai gwargz, i guess daghang trials ang inyung naagi an.

But as i have said, our businesses does not warrant the situation.
My wife has her business in Davao City and me here in Central Mindanao.
We are 5 to 6 hours apart.

I keep our 3 kids here in CM because our house is just a stone's throw
from their school. Usa ra pod ka dupa from Gaisano (kilid ra mi sa Gaisano),
ug 10 meters sa Mercury for medicine & milk, and duol ra pod sa wet market.
Economically, maka-save sa plite2.

In Davao City, my wife is manning her business also. She keeps our
house there with one househelp and a niece.

What is bridging us is our Sun Cellular nga unlimited calls for 999 pesos
per month for 3 lines/phones na.

What keep our relationship so strong is we keep our spiritual life
nourished. For we believe that if God is in the midst of our family
and specifically in our relationship, there is no more room for
jealousy, infidelity, dishonesty, and any other evil deeds.

Yes, Bay Hubs and Brod Brown, both of us are separately
hounded by daily temptations but focusing on the good side is
what keep us on the tract.

Good side? What is that? A lot. Bonding with the kids is one.
When out of work and have a lengthy spare time, go to the gym,
or jog around the corner, or visit your prayer group, or go to
the church and pray. Or if you are in the middle east, busy your
time reading the bible or internetting on TB or researching for

Only that, it is not
easy to do so. Ten years ago, my cousin called me "bayut" dihang
wala na ko mag-inom ug liquor. Gikapoy nako kay Grade 6 pako sugod
ug inom sa Bohol.  I challenged him then nga okay ra ko tawagon
Sige man jod siyag sulog-sulog
in front of his visitors, kay pista man to sa ilaha sa Buhangin.

Busa, i told him straight forward in front of his visitors nga, for me,
ang "bayut" nga tawo mao ang huyang. Huyang sa commitment. Pag

I challenged him, nga makigdungan nakog undang sa inom ug tan-awon
dili niya kaya ang akong wisdom that time.

ka balay, be it in Davao or diri ba sa CM, basin maglisod na pod adjust,
kay naanad baya mi nga di jod mag-uban everyday.

But anyway, we both are preparing for that. We have been casually
discussing ana in our light times together. And one secret formula?
Be transparent. Be open to one another.

I have given my wife the authority to answer calls and read text messages
from my cellphones and vice versa.

I laughed at story that a man even hide his cellphone sa iyaha brief
That is a sign of hiding something.

May God bless us all.

PS. Yes, mga kapatid my Avatar means reaching out. Sharing the good things
i learned. Maybe with this unsolicited advises, naa koy matabangan nga couple
or family or a person who needs to see the light. God bless again.

Distance is not the end of the world in a relationship

Distance cannot, and will not hurt a bond between two people that is based on mutual respect, trust, commitment, and love.

Although you may feel like you are losing faith in your relationship at times, hold fast and trust your heart!

Truly believe that love & relationships are what make your life special, and that ones built on love & understanding are always worth preserving, regardless of the miles that may separate two people

i strongly agree...no matter how far...as long as you love the person, you are willing to sacrifice and to wait...pareha nako..hahahha
