A top police official today ordered a full-dressed investigation on the killing of school teacher and the wounding of his fellow teacher in Zamboanga Sibugay province Friday morning.
Sr. Supt. Federico Castro, Zamboanga Sibugay police chief, directed the Imelda town police to unmask the killers of Arnel Pindang and the wounding of Ibrahim Alunas where the incident took place Friday morning.
Pindang was teaching in one of the schools in Pagadian City, the capital of Zamboanga del Sur, while Alunas is a teacher in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay province.
Initial investigation showed the victims were riding-tandem on a motorcycle on the way to visit a friend in the town of Ipil, the capital of Zamboanga Sibugay, when shot by one of two men riding-tandem on another motorcycle in the highway of Imelda town, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Police investigators said the suspects tailed the victims from Pagadian City and shot the two teachers in a secluded area of the highway in Imelda town. (PNA)
