Two unidentified motorcycle-riding men lobbed a grenade at the house of Judge Kader Indar in Barangay Rosary Heights here past midnight Friday.
Nobody was hurt as Indar, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 14, and his family were in Davao City. Only house caretakers were present at the time of the attack.
Declaring it not election-related, police said the motive of the attack remained unknown but Indar told police investigators that he had been receiving threats from still unidentified men.
Operatives of Task Group Tugis, a military special unit assigned in Cotabato City, has also deployed civilian agents near houses of ranking government officials who have been receiving death threats while performing their duties. - PNA
