Typhoon Paolo Affects Negros, Dumaguete

NORECO-II PIO: Due to inclement weather, several NORECO-II posts toppled down and those near overflows were washed away by the strong current, leaving several areas without power. These include:

• Feeder 8 of Bagacay substation is affected - two (2) double circuit backbone poles
• Canlas Subdivison, Bagacay in Dumaguete City – two (2)  poles
• Talay in Dumaguete City
• Magatas, Sibulan – three-phase line and two (2) broken poles
• Magatas going to Calabnugan

All NORECO II forces who are available are dispatched to work on the damage and power will be restored the soonest possible time.
 
Please stay away from any broken lines and posts and warn others of the danger. Report any concern to our Consumer Welfare Desk at 422-6522 or 225-4830 or 09173224237.
