City Mayor Jefferson Soriano wishes to inform everyone that there is no truth to the news that there were 40 confirmed casualties at Barangay Linao East, Tuguegarao City during the height of the flooding.
The only casualties reported and confirmed from the area were the death of a rescuer from BFAR and that of a senior citizen who died from heart attack.
This is to clarify the fake news posted in social media. Below is an apology of the one who posted the fake news. Pictures he used were taken from Marikina City. Thank you.
