Firecracker Injury in Bulacan

The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) reported on Saturday that 51 persons were brought to different hospitals in the province due to firecracker-related injuries in connection with the New Year's Eve revelry.

Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Fernando Villanueva said no death or victim of stray bullet was recorded in the province as of Saturday morning.

Villanueva said most of those injured lighted banned and oversize-type of firecrackers like “Goodbye Philippines,” “Super Lolo,” “Atomic Bomb,, “5 Star,, “Pla-pla” and “Piccolo.”

He said the victims sustained injuries in the different parts of their bodies and were treated in various hospitals in the province. - pna
