PIA DAVAO ORIENTAL—PDEA XI has declared 2 more barangays as “drug-cleared” leaving only 2 remaining of the barangays having concerns on illegal drugs. Mati has a total of 26 barangays.
CIO of Mati reported that PDEA XI Director Antonio Rivera made the declaration on January 16 with Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat .
Rivera, however, cautioned its authorities to strengthen border security as he noted that illegal drugs supply to Davao Oriental “are transported by sea vessel”. (JMDAbangan)
