Death of Pangasinan vice mayor not suicide--police
CALASIAO, Pangasinan, April 3 (PNA)--The Pangasinan police dismissed all speculations that resigned vice mayor Ferdinand Galang committed suicide early morning of Saturday inside his home in Barangay Mancup, Calasiao.
The police said they found no evidence whatsoever that the deceased committed suicide after Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) investigated the body and the premises.
Galang served as vice mayor of Calasiao for only less than six months till he resigned in December last year.
He was found inside his locked room in kneeling position with his face down with blood coming out from his mouth nose at about 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators said Galang may have died of heart attack as he was suffering from hypertension and had a prostate disorder based on a statement made by his elder sister Julie.
Neighbors who knew Galang well did not also believe he committed suicide. (PNA)
