The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), is set to build a small port on the western bank of a river adjacent the Korea-Philippines Seafood Processing Plant (K-PSPP) in barangay Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan

The project was committed by Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala when he inaugurated the K-PSS last November 30 this year at the request of former Fourth District Congressman Jose de Venecia Jr.

K-PSPP interim manager Westly Rosario, also chief of the National Integrated Fisheries Technology Development Center (NIFTDC), said the project is a landing port for motorboats from Western Pangasinan and La Union bringing their fish to the plant for processing.

Rosario said the port is necessary so that fish products from Lingayen, Binmaley, Bolinao, Anda and Alaminos can be easily brought to the K-PSPP for processing for sale in the domestic an export market.

He said the K-PSPP needs at least five metric tons of fish daily to process to make it financially viable. - pna

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
