BIÑAN, Laguna – Police arrested three carnappers, including the leader of the dreaded Atienza gang and nine drug pushers during a series of anti-criminality operation here, Monday.
Police Superintendent Mafelino Bazar, Biñan police chief, presented to Biñan Mayor Marilyn ‘Len Len’ Alonte-Naguiat, the arrested suspects identified as Jonathan Atienza, tagged as the leader of the gang, with his two cohorts, Alejandro Almeria and Junar Emeterio, both residing in Calamba City.
Bazar said the gang was responsible in a series of carnapÂping activities in Calabarzon. They are also suspected as suppliers of shabu and marijuana to various street users from different barangays in Calabarzon.
