The Bronco Attack planes are in flight operation still, they were built by the United States and are still used by many air forces around the world including Turkey, Germany, France, Thailand, Japan, and the Philippines etc. The United States does not use the Bronco because it has already created the Gruman Attack Craft to replace it.

The Bronco Attack Craft is still very deadly and lethal. It functions as a gunship as well as a light tactical bomber. The Philippine Air Force has equipped its fleet of Broncos with Sidewinder air to surface tactical missiles; as well as traditional surface bombs.

The Philippines' fleet of Broncos are used often to tactically saturate supposed military camps and bases in Muslim Mindanao, as well as areas of heavy NPA activity. The Bronco is the PAF's only primary bomber. It is fast, somewhat agile, and has a long range, which gives it importance to the Air Fleet. This allows it to travel from bases in Clark and Mactan to its destination in Basilan--drop their payload and return back to the nest in time.

As for the F-5 Tiger IIs, these figher air craft have been in long service to the Republic from the early 1970s till 2006. The Philippine Air Force's fleet of F-5IIs have been mothballed; meaning it is no longer in service. The PAF have replaced the F-5IIs with S-211 tactical fighters for the time being. Though the F-5IIs can be re-activated immediately if the republic was in a state of war and needed it.

The Philippine Air Force has had 'talks' of purchasing and acquiring F-16s and possibly even Eurofighters for its air fleet inventory.

We'll see though. Lets hope the politicians don't cheat our republic of much-needed defense fighters.
