to an extent, priests are an example. however, they are spiritually married to Christ and the Church.

sorry, i really cannot say. that we get along most of the time is fine enough for me. but for me to say whether he's much happier because of me would be quite presumptuous. for all i know, he could have been much happier if he had married lady gaga.

as for priests, theirs is a calling, just as being married or single is a calling. happiness is being attuned and true to one's calling, it being a journey of one's choice as personal as one's salvation.
