Happy birthday in heaven, Dean Riano! You are truly missed!

In one of his Bar lectures, Dean Riano shared a message which inspired the attendees to continue with their journey to become lawyers.

We are of a different breed, and you have to be proud of it—whether you pass the Bar or not. Because you are degrees ahead of those who have not completed their law courses. Be proud of yourselves. You are law graduates. Do not think about not making it in the Bar. Remember what I’ve told you? It’s a delayed success. What did I say before? Taking the Bar is a mere formality. But if you do not make it, you simply say “it’s just delay. It’s not a failure.”

It’s a delayed success. Remember that.

If you are undecided, let me advise you, take the Bar.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
