Provincial leaders here led the inaugural rites of the TESDA Language Skills Institute last March 1, at the Provincial Training Center of Jagna (PTC-Jagna) Poblacion, Jagna town.
Spearheading the inauguration were Gov. Erico Aumentado, TESDA Deputy Director General for Field Operation DDG Rogelio C. Peyuan with Congressman Edgar M. Chatto, former Cong. Eladio "Boy" Jala, SP member Corazon Galbreath, Mayor Exuperio Lloren, TESDA VII Regional Dir. Rosanna Urdaneta, TESDA Provincial Director Dr. Francisca R. Opog and Msgr. Orencio D. Jubac.
The activity marked the opening of the TESDA LSI Language Skills Program under the President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo-Training For Work Scholarship Program (PGMA-TWSP) here in Bohol. TESDA DDG Rogelio Peyuan said that the LSI aims to provide language training requirements of Boholano job-ready workers both for the local and international job markets. Initially, the LSI shall offer Language Programs such as Arabic, English, Korean, Mandarin, Nihongo, and Spanish.
