In the five-day strategic planning workshop, the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Jagna drafted a five-year Medium-Term Agricultural Development Plan that focuses on organic agriculture in an effort to attain sustainable food production at the Bohol Agricultural Promotion Center (BAPC) in Dao, Tagbilaran City on January 28 to February 1.

This is in consonance with the thrusts of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Jagna.

The activity specifically aims to develop doable strategies to address top priority issues and lay out specific actions and timelines for implementing such strategies.
During the opening program, Jagna Municipal Agriculture Officer (MAO) Camilo Rizano recognized the participants.          

At least 85 participants, particularly from the agricultural barangays were invited to take part on the said activity. These included the 28 barangay captains and the chairpersons of the different committees on agriculture of the barangays.

Mayor Exuperio Lloren personally thanked the participants for their splendid attitude in learning additional know-how while on the job for the improvement of the agriculture sector in the grassroots.
