Yes. Mingaw ko sa ahong mom, dad, my brothers Don and Andre. Just being around them was a gift, kai, ive been antosing to visit them---just to be around my papa and my mom. Talking about brod Mike and his papa this week has been very reminiscent for me, and reminded me how rarely i say 'I love you' to my own papa. I was able to do that this fall break.

The break wasn't bad, 'te. My dad and I rented a cultivator for our backyard and planted blue grass and fescue seeds; did some flower planting with my mom (for the Halloween season). I also was able to take my little bros out to the costume store---to buy costumes for them---it was the least Kuya could do for them (since i wont be able to go trick-or-treating with them this month). Ay sus...its very wierd how time passes tho. I still cant believe my brother Don is already a first year in high school, and my baby bro is already in 3rd grade. Papa and Mom celebrated their 23 years of marriage this break. So, of course, emotional pood. lol! Ning hilak pood ko, pero i didnt show it

...ning pahid2x lang ko quickly. lol!

Quick ra kaayo ang time, 'te. Kai 2 more months jud until this semester ends.

Hey guys!

Today was a productive day for me, woke up at 9am and got ready for archival research for senior comp project; drove 30 miles south to Mercer County--to look for the Mercer County Historical Society. Got there around 1:30 PM after getting lost in Stoneboro and Sandy Lake township. So now yours truly is a member of the Mercer County Historical Society---and today begins my formal research. The archives wasn't bad at all; the building had documents that stemmed back to the founding of the county seat back in 1800; and ill have to dig for data. Im lucky i started this now, since the research project is due on April 2008. That gives me roughly 5 months to finish this project. We went coring in the lake yesterday and so far we have 2 twenty foot cores; and will begin analyzing every centimeter of those cores with my research colleagues this week. The lab work should take roughly around 2-3 weeks; and graphing and testing should take another additional 3-4 weeks. Metals analysis will take another week or so. Today was a great day. I loved driving down to the lake and the archives---it was windy and sunny out.

Hope everyone's day goes as planned.

the sun finally came out this afternoon...

it was so scary because it sounded like someone throw some gravels on our roof...

I got so crazy thinking that someone got into our house, sense it is far away from the road...

Classes are over, and the weekend is nigh. Im pretty excited because we have our masquerade ball tonight, and im dressing up as a 19th century count (with cape and mask) hahaha. The weather isnt bad over here, some sprinkles, but nothing serious.

HOW'S MY DAY? it is really true, that it is so tiring, when we will be assign at Psychia ward... this week we are at Psychia Ward. whew! as in GRABEH!... maapil sad tag kaboang... I am assign to a female pt, from Batangas, shes 42 years old as per pt. says... diagnose of Schizophrenia... she was just found at the street lying and unconscious... as concern citizen brought her to the hospital... and that was way back 1994... my patient is very silent, she don't want to mingle with others.. pero mag patoo sya on what we say, like maligo, manudlay... but onething nga naka dismay nako was when I ask her to draw which I mentioned her pa kahapon na naa mi activity today... she would just say, I dont want to draw because, "hindi ako maka-punta ng Maynila pag mag-drawing ako mam" as verbalized by the pt... been trying to encourage her, talked her.. basta, as in wala jud sya mi drawing or sulat... dili bah discouraging kaayo...? saunz... lahe man jud ni mood nila woi, dili matag-an...

yeah, Im preparing for her some pictures today, para ipa tan-aw nya and instead of drawing, I would just let her ask unsa iya ika sulti about sa pic... I've been trying to help evryone in the hospital, just simply remind them evryday sa ilang dapat buhaton, like maligo, manglipyo, manghugas sa kamot before mag eat, mag pray & mag toothbrush... simple lang pero I think these will help... Its a very nice feeling gyud if maka convience ka ug patient to do something which sa uban gani nga student nurse dili sila magpatoo...

Today was a rainy day. Work. Work and more Work!! Met up with my pre-med advisor, she congratulated me--and i also did a talk with other underclassmen pre-meds; I was part of a 6 membered panel of students who were accepted to med schools. So other pre-meds had the chance to ask us about the MCATs (medical college admission tests), the required courses, the application process, what we did, how we dealt with rejection and how we dealt with acceptances etc. What was really hilarious was that there were 6 of us who were giving talks, and there were 3 of us who were Filipino, one was Pakistani, the other two were putis. 4 out of 6 were Asian. And out of the 4 asians, 3 were Filipino. Says alot about the American medical field. Can I say "Asian-dominated"?

hi everyone! My day was kind of draining.. as in flat gyud ko pag abot sa hauz after sa duty... the pt. today was all diffirent from yesterday, as in nangtukar halos tanan, instead I would stay sa ward suppose to be for four hrs.. nakig interact lang ko nila mga two hours... naluya jud ko kaayo... anyways, my pt. was good man today, she did all her task man for the day...

Ive precepted long enough in the ER to see how brutally rude patients can be, and seen nurses forced to sedate them by the order of the physician (as the patient not only can harm him/herself, but the medical providers as well). Hope your clinical experience is enjoyable, and I'm inspired that more nurses are as optimistic in the nursing field as you are. Good! Very good! And may you carry that spirit always in your noble profession!

Last night was wierd. Really wierd. My friend Shiao Jie invited me over his place and he decided to dress up as a 'Zhongguoren rockstar' literally 'Chinese rock star' hahaha. (this was for a Halloween party we went to)
Dude...ive never seen Shiao so drunk in my life..hahaha. Heres some pics.

Hello Belle! Pastilan, wa jud nagamit akong hinulaman na candies kay wa may nasaag na kabataan dre. Ning anhi lang akong manghud busa sya naka kaon sa akong marsmallows ug binangkal. Ga dala pa kay dalhon sa iyang office tomorrow.

Nag walking diay ko ganina pagkahuman nato TB kay manambok ta ani sige lang atubang computer. Last nko ka TB kay si Happy.
