There's nothing wrong with the market right now. It will always be like this. Stocks will go up and down. That's how you make money. If there's no volatility, you cant make anything. I'm afraid I cant share with you any ideas. In fact, I think you know more about this game than me. Maybe I'm just fortunate. However you study and research, luck still plays a very big part. Maybe I was born under a lucky star.

I have some penny stocks in my portfolio. Some blue chips. A little bit of commodities. A few years ago, I noticed that Coke's value was steadily dropping. Made a little investigation and found  HANSEN NATURAL, [HANS] a little beverage company . I bought 10,000 shares at about $4. Sold recently at $38. Now I have a little stash. Guess I'm a lucky man.

For my penny stocks I use Scottrade. I use another brokerage for my international stocks and options. Lost $10,000 on my options so I got out. Foolish me. I let my stockbroker do the trades on my options. Little knowledge is dangerous. Now I'm just taking it easy. A little bit here. A little bit there. You know what I mean.

This is a tip for my friend BK. Watch for UTUC [Utah Uranium Corp.] Yesterday it was 58 cents. Today it is up 4 cents to 62 cents, a gain of 6.9 percent in 1 day. Ooopss. Why is this 69. It's kind of my favorite no.  ;D I have not bought yet. I am closely watching. It is projected to go up to $10 in a few months. Or this could go down to zero. Which way do we go? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind. Win some. Lose some. That's the name of the game.

Just a few months ago, Utah Uranium acquired 100% interest in 344 mining claims on 6,800 acres in the Henry Mountain Mining District, located in South Central Utah.

(If you don’t know about the massive amount of uranium sitting in this region, hang on, I’ll bring you up to speed in a moment).

And just a few weeks after that, Utah Uranium inked a letter of intent for the acquisition of 100% interest in additional mineral claims (the producing “Hat” mine) on 333 acres in the Montrose Country, Colorado ... an area that has confirmed presence of uranium, lots of it!

The company has also recently acquired the past producing “Family Butte” Mine Complex consisting of over 2,000 acres with 9 portals assessing multiple zones of high-grade uranium mineralization in the famous Temple Mountain uranium minding in District South Central Utah.

 And there's more...

Utah Uranium is currently negotiating the acquisition of several additional projects in the Colorado plateau area and plans to produce uranium ore in the near future from several of its past producing mines.

Utah Uranium’s property in the Henry Mountain region has a $3.75 billion potential, with a 50,000,000-pound deposit at today’s spot price of $75 per pound. Production has yet to begin, but based on the geology and its closeness to the giant Bullfrog mine complex, the mind-boggling potential could be realized soon.

There could be yet another key reason Utah Uranium is a likely takeover target. Location, location, location. It’s properties are located in the uranium-rich Henry Mountain region and they are just minutes away from the only uranium processing mill in the United States.

This is prime uranium property.

And Uranium One is likely to get some competition for UTUC. Bidding wars are always nice for the stockholders of the company being acquired. But you must buy UTUC now.

Utah Uranium certainly isn’t sitting around waiting.

23 more claims

Just last month, Utah Uranium announced the signing of an agreement to purchase 100% interest in the “Wild” claims, 23 mineral claims within the Henry Mountain Syncline of East Central Utah.

Do you know about this part of the country? If you do, then you know about Christian (Ted) Murer.

He’s the geologist who made the first uranium discovery in The Henry Mountain region, in 1980. Utah Uranium acquired the 23-claim “Wild” from this legendary uranium prospector.

Is that a guarantee all the new UTUC claims will produce in gangbuster numbers? Pretty darn close. Ted Murer is something of a genius in the field.

Lower Risk, Without Giving Up Rewards

Risky mining speculation is minimized because Utah Uranium‘s acquisitions are proven producers of uranium -- with mining infrastructure in place.
In the Henry Mountain District, for instance, the first major discovery of uranium was made in the 1980s, known as the Tony M Mine. This mine developed into a 12,920,000 pound resource of refined uranium. And the Bullfrog Mine, located right next to the Tony M, consists of an additional 5,300,000 pound producer.

Exploration Geologists Christian (Ted) Murer discovered the Tony M mine in the Henry Mountain Mining District. And he is now working with Utah Uranium (OTCBB: UTUC), using similar uranium discovery methodology.

Utah Uranium‘s business plan centers on the project generator model. This means the company will bring in joint venture partners on all of the projects to cover all the costs associated with the acquisition and development of the mines, leaving Utah Uranium with a 50% carried interest.

This model allows Utah Uranium to grow rapidly without spending excessive amounts of capital. Hence, the company is able to issue fewer shares for cash, keeping the shares’ dilution to a minimum.

I dont focus too much on penny stocks. My style of investing is saksak sinagol. Just like a sari sari store. A little bit here, a little bit there. UTUC is down to 59 cents today. HANS is up to $40.05. I sold at $38. If i held out a little bit longer and sold today, I would have made about $4 million. But I dont regret it. My profit of more than 3 and a half million bucks in HANS is good enough for me. Just play it safe BK. Dont be greedy. If you hold out too long to maximixe your profits, you might get burned instead.

IF UTUC keeps going down, I might be tempted to buy. Uranium is scarce. My gut feeling is that this company has plenty of upside. Who knows I might make another million or two. If my luck holds, I might become a rich man. Right now, Im just a small time investor. But some of my buddies are up there already. The richest friend I have has more than 300 million bucks. For us, it would be a great fortune. But compared to BILL you know who, he is peanuts. Money is relative. If you have a million, you will be a rich man. If Donald Trump is down to his last million, he will be a beggar.

There's no harm in trying. As long as you put up something you can afford to lose. Just to get your feet wet. I feel the price will go up. Im just trying to enter as low as possible. So if the price goes down to 50 cents, I'll jump in. But if I cant keep myself in check,  I'll place my order to my broker on Monday. Maybe for an initial 20,000 shares. This is the beauty of penny stocks. I can buy as much as I want. Something I cannot do with blue chips since I have only a little capital.

Demand for uranium will not stop

The world needs more power. What we don’t need is more pollution.
With technology decades away from utilizing solar or wind energy in any meaningful way, leaders are turning to nuclear energy, which of course requires uranium.

Uranium stocks are on fire. The world just can’t get enough of this clean, efficient, powerful energy source.

Just how powerful is uranium? One uranium fuel pellet is about the size of your fingernail. But this single tiny pellet packs the power of 17,000 cubic feet of natural gas... 1,780 pounds of coal... 149 gallons of oil.

What’s more, the nuclear energy generated by uranium is cheap and clean. To produce one kilowatt of electricity using oil or gas costs more than 5.5¢. But the cost is just 1.72¢ using nuclear power.

And instead of spewing hazardous greenhouse gases into the air, nuclear energy is clean and free of emissions. Nuclear power plants split uranium atoms and the only thing released into the atmosphere is water.

That’s why even the most radical environmental activists are now giving nuclear power the green light. It’s also why more than 100 new nuclear power plants are being built and planned around the world.

Hi Fortune,

I've been reading secret books on how millions of Americans become rich. One secret that I read is that Americans are risk-taker. They invest a lot in new ventures even if the business prospect is dim.

My MBA tells me that high-risk yields high-return.

That is true Mr. BOHOL. Where the risk is high, that's where you will find FORTUNE. Maybe you have heard how George Soros made a billion dollars in one day when he bet against the british pound.

Uranium can be found everywhere. In small quantities. But the deposits I'm talking about in UTUC are big enough to make it commercially feasible to mine it.
This is why I featured it here in my topic. But if you are planning to invest in it like what BK is planning to do, be very careful. One penny stock can make you a millionaire, but it can also bring you to the poorhouse. They can lose all their value at any moment. This is why they are called penny stocks.

Fortune, there is a new venture I read in Fortune Magazine.

Buy a Boeing 737 and remodel it. Many low cost airlines are willing to buy a remodeled Boeing 737 at an attractive price.

nia dinhi ang thrill sa stock market. kong ka antigo ka mo timing. pananglitan, naka palit ka ug shares sa UTUC worth $10,000. misaka ang price from 50 cents to a dollar. imong e baligja. perteng dako-a na imong ganansya in just a few months. pero ako, i am not a market timer. tinapowan ning ahong style. win or lose. kong tanawon naho nga naa juy underlying value ang stock, i invest for the long term. dili na ko mag pakabana sa price. either the stock i picked up will reach the price i set for it, or i shall lose all that i invested. i bought UTUC at 50 cents. about 20,000 bucks worth. ug moabot ang share price sa UTUC ug $5, ahong e arya. di ko mag pa tental ug 2 or 3 dollars. bahala na ug mo os os ang share price sa UTUC ug 10 cents. dili ko mag mahay. im willing to lose all my money or win BIG...i lost quite a few, but when i win..OMG...kinadak-an nahong ganansya from one stock more than half a million. in 2 yrs.

ikaw bol-anon, daghan na seguro ka ug ganansya. paliti ko ug bahalina bi...

bay LINDY, ug interesado jud ka mo entra sa ahong duwa, naa koy ma reccomend nimo. ang alternative energy sector. ka dungog naman jud ka ug biofuels. ang naka apan lang pod sa biofuels, mosaka na pod ang mga presyo sa commodities like corn and rice. mostly ang biofuels karon are manufactured from corn. pero unsaon man, ma pogos jud ta ug gamit ug biofuels tungod kay kining mga oil sheiks misamot naman ka hakog. there is no way the price of gasoline will go down. mag sigi na lang jud ni ug saka. mao nga safe jud ning mga alternative energy stocks. mag sigi pod ug saka ang mga share prices niini as the world turns to alternative energy. ikaw kay daghan man ka ug ika pohonan, maka afford ka ani nga mga companies. naay 4 ka companies karon nga engaged niining negosyoha. two of these companies trade under $13 a share. they have already won guaranteed support from Uncle Sam.. in  an incredible feat of eng'g. , these companies have already managed to plummet their costs in the production of a new environmentally friendly fuel from $5.40 a gallon to a mere 18 cents...

as usual, this is TO BE CONTINUED... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
