See the difference between windows and linux...

[G@Len]

if im not mistaken, linux is playing with that thing for some time now... then vista came out of the picture. hmmmmm...

[slackware]

nakaparat lng sa linux kay dili user friendly...

[G@Len]

ang user dli friendly...    always compare to windows... mangita sa button nga only in windows...
linux is linux, window$ is window$

[slackware]

user friendly ang windows kay exucutable ang mga installer dili parehas sa linux na magcompile pa ka moagi pa kag terminal sudo sudo blah blah blah

[G@Len]

sorry but i disagree     that ain't true...

desktop type linux or even redhat ES got gui similar to Micro$oft's "add/remove programs" or if its an rpm then you can use nautilus then click and install, both available in KDE and Gnome. i believe even slackware naa sad sila ilang kaugalingon tool for that purpose. try checking those linux for desktops, for sure you can find useful gui tools if you dont want to get dirty with the terminal.

[slackware]

i prefer the terminal way...challenging...nakakabubu kasi ang mga self executable files! hehehehehe

[G@Len]

hehehe  then you have your own way. anyway, you can always scratch your head if you bump to something.

just a simple tip, dont use this command using root account #rm -rf *

[slackware]

its not a very big deal kay guest OS lang nako ang ubuntu. if anything bad happens, it wont affect my host OS.

[G@Len]

yeah, thats the beauty of virtualization...
