5 Church Signs With Wise Words To Live By

By RyanFord

Churches in this day and age have become renowned for their clever signs. There are a lot out there that have shown a flare for humor with their signs, but fewer that have actually figured out how to show off their wisdom.

1. "Listen and silent are spelled with the same letters."

You can't hear what others are saying when you're talking! Mind you, you can also spell 'tinsel' with the same letters.

4. "Be the person your dog thinks you are."

Your dog thinks you're pretty awesome, and they're always happy to see you — so take that to heart. Also, dog and god are spelled with the same letters!

5. "If you are more fortunate than others, build a longer table, not a taller fence."

Generosity is the spirit!
