Its Thanksgiving Day today! Thanks be to God!


Today, my sister and I attended Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00 AM diri sa Chicago. Father Daniel Collins was the celebrating priest.

After mass, we went to the local grocery store , Jewell Osco, and bought supplies for Thanksgiving Dinner. Right now we are cooking:

1. Sabaw nga baka (ox tail)
2. Adobong manok
3. White rice

It smells good right now. I wish you all were here to share in our little Thanksgiving feast.

Thanks for the text msg... yes, gahapon, early, I cooked a special fried rice (using tony chachere and dried sweetened chinese sausage) ug uban pa for our July birthday celebrants (daily mass group). Unya kay daghan man sobra sa akong rekada, nagluto gehapon kog fried rice for the evening - plus 12 chic wings and steamed asparagus - and decided to invite 3 friends to come over. Unya akong gihimong dessert kay champorado... while they were conversing akong pong geluto hehehe 

Na late kog join sa luncheon because a young lady came and asked for 30 minute of my time (istorya in private) which ended up to an hour. Wala ko kabalibad kay I thought she looked like Elizabeth Taylor at age 38. (LoL)
