Shock Of His Life:Cellphone Bill Is $85,000

A Canadian oil field worker got the shock of his life when he opened his cell phone bill and found himself being charged $85,000 (Canadian).

Piotr Staniaszek got an unlimited browsing plan as part of his cell phone service and thought that meant he could use his phone as a modem for his computer. The 22-year-old then used his phone to download movies and other high-resolution files when he was out by himself on the field.

Bell Mobility, though, says using the phone to download stuff to his computer isn't covered by his unlimited plan, thus the astronomical cell phone bill. The bill started at $60,000 Canadian and then jumped up to $85,000. As a measure of "goodwill" the company lowered his bill to $3,400 Canadian but that's still too high said Staniaszek's dad, who went to the press to plead his son's case.

Na experience ni sa anak sa among silingan.  He let his son borrow his phone dayon kay nag download man diay mga music.  When they got the bill, na shock sila kay almost 5k dollars ang bill!  Gi reklamo nila kay lagi the father said he didn't know internet is accesable in his cphone.  Gipahangyo lang to 2k ang gipabayad but still ga alburoto ang father kay 50 dollars ra gud iyang plan.  Expensive lesson learned.

Another case, my bestfriend in Hawaii called me two weeks ago.  She was so shocked to get her cphone bill na 960 dollars ang iyang bayronon.  She has this telephone with her father na US local number lang and she also has a globe cphone number sa iyang father.  When she called her father, na auto tong Phil. Globe cphone number instead of the US phone number.  Ka ubo intawon kay she called many times unya more than an hour each time sya mag call!
