 Moapil ang HNU Chess Team coached by Nick Pagaran . Ang opisina sa Gobernador sa Bohol  gidapit nga magpadala ug representative para sa Inspirational Message during the Opening Program. Napalitan na pud  ug round-trip fastcraft ticket ang modala sa mga chess clocks ug chess mats from Cebu nga si Marvin Ruela, opisyal sa Cebu Chess Association.. Usa siya nga motabang sa pagpadagan sa Balong Chess Tournament.

Naay National Master nga nagparehistro si Elmer Sumngat. Posible usab nga moabot gikan sa Cebu si International Master Anthony Makinano, taga Cebu, pero sa Bohol natawo.

Daku nakong pasalamat sa atong webmaster MIKE LIGALIG w/out whom this tournament would not have been possible.

It is my hope that in the future we can attract grandmasters to our tournament. In a few years tagaan nato ug mas daku nga premyo. So far the biggest prize given for a chess tournament was P20,000 by the Shell Corporation. Malooy ang Ginoo maka hatag pod unja ta ug ingon ana ka dak-a nga premyo.
