I have seen some bad vestments over the years, but the vestments of Fr. Humberto Alvarez are the superheroes of stupid.

Mexican Priest, Fr. Humberto Alvarez, wears vestments with the pictures, emblems, and logos of comic book superheroes.

I am not kidding.





I am sick to death with the foolish notion that to attract children to Jesus that you need to obscure Jesus with such nonsense. I don't know if there is a canon law forbidding such idiocy, but there should be.

But guess what, it gets worse. Fr. Alvarez uses a machine gun water pistol to shoot holy water. I am not kidding.

Sa 24 anyos pako getagaan kog vestment sa skong tiya nga artist, si Tiya Nene Borja. She asked me unsay gusto nakong painting sa vestment. Akong tubag "barb wire!" and she did paint a barbwire LoL. The 24 me!
