Herbalife Shares Up, Icahn Vs. Ackman Battle Brewing

Herbalife (HLF) shares jumped 8% at midday Friday after noted activist investor Carl Icahn revealed a 13% stake in the diet and nutritional supplement company. Herbalife's shares have bounced up and down since May as major investors took long or short positions in the company. Herbalife is the latest battleground for Icahn and his former partner Bill Ackman. Herbalife's investors' trouble began in May after David Einhorn of Greenlight Capital
