Safer vehicles through international harmonisation

European Commission Press release Brussels, 14 November 2012 The European Commission has today agreed with international partners on new internationally harmonised rules on Advanced Emergency Braking Systems (AEBS) and Lane Departure Warning Systems (LDWS) for commercial vehicles.
