Diring-diri tayo sa ipis. Walang naidudulot itong mabuti sa bahay at kalusugan ng pamilya. Pero kahit anong linis, bakit sila bumabalik at dumarami?

Hindi naman kailangan laging mag-spray ng kemikal para mawala ang mga ipis. Maliban sa kemikal, may magagawang iba pa para mawala ang ipis sa bahay.

Kailangang regular na maglinis ng bahay. Iwasang maglabas ng mga reading materials o mga papel. Minsan ay nagiging pagkain nila ito lalo na kung ang luma na ang papel â€" may ibang lasa ito sa kanila.

Iwasang magtambak ng pinagkainan sa lamesa o lababo. Hugasan ito agad upang hindi balik-balikan ng ipis. Takpan ang mga pagkain maging ang lagayan ng gatas, asukal at iba pa na pwede nilang kainin.

Pamuksa sa ipis.

Bumili ng borax at haluan ito ng asukal na may parehas na dami. Ilagay ito sa ilalim ng lababo, sa mga cracks o sa tagong lugar.

Epektibo ito at murang pamatay ng ipis. Gusto ng mga ipis ang asukal. Sinisira nito ang digestive system ng ipis at outer skeleton nito upang sila ay mamatay. Ang mixture na ito ay may benepisyo: chemical-free, fume-free, at environmental friendly.

Where in Tagbilaran is borax powder for sale?

i've been looking, too, through the internet anyway.  so far it's available at www.sulit.com.ph/, the brands of which i never noticed in grocery store shelves.

i checked too whether borax is similar to baking soda (which is so available in arm and hammer brand).  eureka!  it goes without saying how dangerous it is if we dwell only on presumptions, as i almost did.  here's what i got:

They are certainly not the same thing, but it depends on your purpose if you can substitute them or not! If you are cooking and the recipe calls for baking soda, borax can definitely not be used! But if you are using baking soda for cleaning, borax is also a good cleaning agent. (http://wiki.answers.com)

now i know borax less than before i read about it.  is there a chemist around here?
