I had a good friend in college, who was a foreign exchange student from Shanghai University, his name was Rong bin, who said that in China it was common to eat cat soup if someone had a stomach ache. He told me that dog meat is considered very expensive kono sa China. He said that the meat tasted very similar to sweetened lamb. The consistency is almost like lamb kono.
