Five Rules for Investing.

Note: My Rules don't address specific sectors, because sectors that are in favor one decade won't be the next. This is a template for investing in any market sector in any market environment.

1. Protect the cash: That's how fortunes are made.

Depending on the market environment, there are times when I make five trades in a day. But there are also times when there's no investment to make. I've gone days, weeks, even months without deploying investment capital...

But when I'm ready, I have a nice big bankroll to use. So be patient.

2. You need to take 100% control.

You need to have 100% control of your financial destiny.

If your broker or money manager dismisses your concerns, questions, or objections, fire him immediately.

Ang ahong amigo nga nag salig lang kanunay sa ijang broker  Kanunay arkanse. He was losing $20,000 every month. Your broker does not care if you make money or not. Whether you lose or you gain, they still have their commission.

3. Liquidity.

Make sure the investments you are in are liquid. If you get stuck in an investment that goes "no bid," you could be in an investment (housing, for example) for months â€" even years â€" with no way out.

4.Trust your instincts.

If something doesn't feel right, chances are it's not.

Kadto bitaw nga nag lalis mi si Lord Hubag, I did not feel like trading. Medyo nag bokal bokal pa ahong dugo. The trade went against me. Maajo na lang kay $700 lang ahong alkanse.

And finally...

5. If you're going to speculate, go where the boom is.

This one really is simple.

This is causing inflation. Ang resulta nag ka mahal na ang mga goods. If you have money to invest, buy gold and silver.

i made a very good decision when i decided to buy LUXR. normally dili man ko mo INVEST ug penny stocks. i TRADE penny stocks. buy and sell. ining adlawa makita dajon ang ganansya. pero pag subay pa naho sa LUXR, naka huna huna ko nga i will hold it for the long term. kosog ang saka. nag sugod lang gud ni sija ug 2 cents last year.  late na ko naka palit. kapin 50 cents na ang share price when i got the tip. dinhi man gud sa states basta hibaw-an na ka nga investor, naay daghang mo hatag ug tip. sir, buy thiscompany. mao ni naka lami sa penny stocks. kong maka tonong ka. perteng dagku-a sa ganansya. kay mga babies pa gud ni sila. they have more room to grow compared to blue chips nga hinay na ang tubo. kay mature na man sila. pero ug mo sipyat pod ka, bisan usa ka sakong kwarta ang imong pohonan, ma hurot pod dajon.

Technical analysis is the evaluation of securities by means of studying statistics generated by market activity, such as past prices and volume. Technical analysts do not attempt to measure a security's intrinsic value but instead use stock charts to identify patterns and trends that may suggest what a stock will do in the future.
In the world of stock analysis, fundamental and technical analysis are on completely opposite sides of the spectrum. Earnings, expenses, assets and liabilities are all important characteristics to fundamental analysts, whereas technical analysts could not care less about these numbers. Which strategy works best is always debated, and many volumes of textbooks have been written on both of these methods. So, do some reading and decide for yourself which strategy works best with your investment philosophy.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18

In the mid 1980s, my favorite band was R.E.M. At that time, they were the kings of college radio and snotty rock critics. But high school kids were still using Van Halen, Loverboy and Journey as their soundtrack for getting in trouble. When classmates would kid me about listening to the weird, minimalist music that they didn't play on commercial radio, however, I would simply reply, "Yeah. Just watch. There'll be an R.E.M. tape in your collection by the time you come home for Thanksgiving break of your freshman year of college."

I was at a party during Thanksgiving break of my freshman year of college. One of detractors came up and thumped me in the sternum. "You were right about R.E.M.!"

The herd had caught on.

R.E.M. went on to a major label, multimillion-dollar deal and became mainstream. I still liked R.E. M., but it had grown beyond being an outlier band from Athens, Georgia. Their output changed, perhaps dictated by a much bigger audience.

It's similar to what's currently happening to Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) stock price. It's no longer moving based on fundamentals.

The herd is in control.

When this happens, numbers get ahead of themselves. The good money has been made. Now, we're entering the phase when money can, and probably will, be lost.

The inmates are running the asylum...
If I had the time to count how many times the movement of Apple's stock price was analyzed ad nauseam by talking heads and guest pundits in one day on CNBC, then I'm sure I could fill up at least one yellow legal pad with tally marks. Is this because Apple's price movement is vitally important to the overall health and well being of financial markets? No. TV programming is steered by what viewers want to see. And everyone's interested in everything Apple. Therefore, the talk will be everything Apple.

No one has to convince me that Apple is an amazing company. It is. Its products are cutting-edge. But the stock can only run so far.
Here are three reasons why it may be time to take some of your money off the table, if you own shares.
1. Expectations are too optimistic -- In an April 17 research report, Credit Suisse analysts reiterated their "outperform" rating with a 12-month price target of $750. They also expect iPad sales to grow by 66% to 66 million units, compared with last year's 40 million units. Credit Suisse also expects 2012 revenue to grow 57% to $170 billion from last year, and by 25% to $213 billion for 2013.

These are huge numbers and frankly, they just don't seem realistic. That's a 48.6% compound annual growth rate for a two-year period, which basically assumes the same annual revenue growth rate the company has enjoyed since 2008. To assume this could continue and to throw money at the stock is a fool's errand, given the  likely future economic weakness in Europe and China.

There are already a few tiny cracks showing that most devotees refuse to acknowledge. For example, iPhone activations at AT&T (NYSE: T) were down 43% in the first quarter of 2012 to 4.3 million units, compared with 7.6 million units for fourth-quarter 2011. That's significant, seeing as how iPhones represent 60% of all smartphone sales for AT&T. A 43% drop is a big number from Apple's biggest customer. It's also a caution flag.

2. Momentum taking over -- According to New York University finance professor, Aswath Damodaran, Apple has become a momentum stock. Momentum investing relies on the acceleration on a stock's price (in either direction). This strategy relies more on short-term price fluctuations rather than fundamentals.

"The new investors of Apple scare me. They're momentum investors," Damodaran told Bloomberg TV. "Once stocks become a momentum play, intrinsic value goes out the window." Damodaran is a renowned scholar of intrinsic valuation. He's also done quite well with Apple. He started buying shares in 1997, when they had cratered to about $5. He's selling now. I consider him the smart money.

3. Institutional influence -- Institutional investors own about 71% of all outstanding Apple shares. This includes mutual funds, pension funds, endowments, hedge funds, etc. Many institutional managers are no different from individual investors in their tendency to get caught up in herd mentality. Manager A owns Apple? Well... we'd better have it too! What? Manager X is shorting it? We need to get on that right away!

I have become very skeptical when a mutual-fund salesman shows me a large-cap equity fund that supposedly outperformed last year. I immediately look at the top five holdings. If Apple is in the top three, you can more or less guarantee that if you strip out Apple's contribution, the results were mediocre to bad.

Risks to Consider: I'm not ashamed to admit that I am bearish on Apple (see the article I wrote in June of last year). At the same time, I was dead wrong. Shares nearly doubled since that article was published.

Apple is a classic outlier company even without Steve Jobs. It could very easily reinvent the wheel and the herd could take the price even further into the stratosphere. The company has been awfully quiet since the launch of its cloud-based storage product. That could be good or bad. Nevertheless, the chart looks broken to me.

Action to Take --> Apple shares are currently down around 5.5% from their recent high of $644. First-quarter earnings were a blow out. That's great, especially if you already own shares. But going forward, that only makes outperformance that much more difficult for the company. Any slight disappointment and a huge pack of lemmings will likely head for the cliff.

If your gains in the stock are substantial, then take some, if not all. If you're so attached to the stock, which typically happens to investors who have a great deal of success with one particular investment, then take out your original investment and play with the house's money. Also, you can place trailing stop-loss orders of 10% below the current price, for example. If you don't get stopped out and the price recovers, bump up your price. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Tech giants Apple and Amazon proved their mettle to doubting investors once again, leading US stocks higher in the week to Friday as the markets showed they had not yet run out of steam.

The world's biggest company, market value-wise, and the Internet's biggest retailer, both showed up analysts with forecast-busting results that gave the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 firm boosts.

They also helped distract from other possible sources of investor worry -- a somewhat glum US growth report for the first quarter, Federal Reserve inaction on hopes for more stimulus, new worries in Europe and some concern about Chinese growth.

Friday brought a lower-than-forecast estimate for first-quarter US growth, of only 2.2 per cent, down from 3.0 per cent in the final quarter of 2011.

But even that failed to dull the markets, which turned in gains for the day.

US markets scored a firm performance for the week, with earnings from a number of firms beating forecasts and cheering the investors.

For the week the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 1.53 per cent to end at 13,228.31, and the S&P gained 1.8 per cent to 1,403.36.

The Nasdaq though picked up 2.29 per cent, helped mainly by Apple's 5.2 per cent gain for the week, and Amazon's 19.4 per cent run.

Also helping the markets were blue-chip Boeing's earnings, which delivered a 5.1 per cent boost to the aircraft maker's shares for the period.

"The reporting period has been much better than expected, although admittedly from a lower bar -- 83 per cent of companies have beaten expectations so far, which is an all-time record high," said analysts at Charles Schwab & Co.

"But market reactions to good reports have been more muted relative to the punishments doled out to those that disappointed."

Among the disappointments were Caterpillar, which lost 2.9 per cent for the week; Procter & Gamble, down 4.6 per cent; and United Continental, down 3.2 per cent.

Even so, said Bryan Sapp of Schaeffer's Investment Research, the markets did not appear to want to fall.

"The one certainty remains that this market is made of Teflon. Seemingly no matter what happens, the bears just can't manage to take the reins and drive us lower, despite abysmal economic data and numerous macroeconomic fears," he said.

The Charles Schwab analysts said they remained optimistic, but wary nonethless.

"Despite an earnings season that has been much better than expected so far, investors appear to be again focusing on more macro concerns," they said.

"Europe and China are dominant concerns but US growth sustainability is also being questioned."

Company results in the coming week include Pfizer and Motorola (Tuesday), Comcast and Time-Warner (Wednesday), and Viacom, Kraft, AIG and General Motors (Thursday).

Even if company earnings are driving sentiment, eyes will still be on data releases covering April in the coming week: consumer spending (Monday), the ISM manufacturing index (Tuesday), industrial orders (Wednesday); and the ISM services survey (Thursday).

Many of the world's wealthiest families have used "secret currencies"for generations to grow dynasties. Let me show you just
one example ...

A guy named Mayer Amschel Rothschild used his knowledge from one of these investments to launch the largest family fortune the
world has ever seen.

Their network and knowledge of the secret currency helped...

In a matter of years, the Rothschilds became the wealthiest family in the world.

In fact, even today's biggest international banking conglomerates are not as powerful as the Rothschild's were in their heyday (the 1800s and early 1900s).

Over the years, the Rothschild family built eight of Europe's grandest estates. Mayer's son James, for example, built a French mansion big enough to house dozens of guests, 100 servants, and stables for 80 horses.

The walls were covered with paintings by the Old Masters: Van Eyck, Rubens, Velazquez, and Rembrandt.

The house had marble busts and gold-plated ceilings. even an underground railway that sent hot food from the separately housed kitchen to the dining room.

The Rothschilds could buy anything they wanted:

They hired the best musicians in the world (such as Chopin, Liszt, and Paganni) to play at their parties.

They hired Europe's best chefs to cook in their kitchens.

When one of the Rothschild boys found a favorite Bordeaux wine, he didn't stock up on several cases. Instead, he bought the whole Chateau Lafite vineyard.

The family built hospitals, orphanages and schools. They financed giant projects of the day, like Austria's first railroad and the Crimean War. They even bought shares of the Suez Canal for Britain.

And it all started with a Secret Currency -- a form of money prized for its safety, anonymity, and profit potential.

I'm going to show you how to capitalize on one of the 'secret currencies' in the following paragraph!

They call it "Black Gold"

American Liberty Petroleum
Symbol: OREO
Price: $1.30

Keep reading word by word like you are now, because you'll soon discover critical intel...

...Why OREO right now?

...Because of the recent analyst report below

American Liberty Petroleum (OTCBB: OREO) Receives $3.85 Price Target

American Liberty Petroleum, Corp. (OTCBB: OREO) an oil and gas exploration and development company focusing on similar areas
as ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM), Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY) and Chevron (NYSE: CVX), has been issued a $3.85 price target by
Grassroots Research and Distribution, Inc.

Read that last sentence one more time!

You now see the significance right?

"OREO" is priced at $1.30 per share, You are looking at a PotentialTRIPLE based on the target price of $3.85

Based in Bakersfield, California, American Liberty Petroleum is a publicly traded oil and gas company (OTC BB: OREO)
relentlessly dedicated to achieving three goals:

* Discovering major, new onshore US energy resources that sharply reduce the nation's need for imported oil
* Tapping overlooked or undervalued onshore domestic resources through exploration and development technologies not
previously available
* Rewarding shareholders focused on building prosperity and freedom

The initial report includes Grassroots proprietary Cohen Price Target which is calculated on a Price to Earnings-2014 ratio of $2.36, Price to Capital Employed of $5.48, the Cohen Performance Index value of $2.96 and the Cohen Discounted Cashflow of $4.60. These methods lead to a long term price of $3.85.

MARKET OPPORTUNITY:

"Mr Obama's target to decrease US oil imports by a third by 2022 may well be doubled, given the pace of US discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico and onshore."

- "The new geopolitics of oil." Financial Times website, Apr. 6, 2011 Recent significant discoveries, such as Occidental Petroleum's 1+ billion barrels of oil and natural gas equivalents in California, prove the potential for developing new oil and gas production solutions in western America.

Meanwhile, right next door in the under-explored state of Nevada are American Liberty's holdings, situated on a structure with enough estimated oil reserves (4+ billion barrels) to dwarf the Occidental discovery.

Most recently, the Company's completion efforts on its Paradise 2-12 well on the Cortez lease resulted in production of approximately 200 barrels of oil/water mixed fluid. A sample of the fluid was sent to the Foreland Eagle Springs refinery for further analysis, the results of which will be used for evaluating the next step of the well completion process. Technical Support - FOCUS
+++++++++++++++++++++

Go here right now and follow me word for word to understand why NOW is the time technically for huge potential breakout

look here -> www.bigcharts.com

You see the base support level of around $1.25 to $1.30 in price if you look from left to right since its very first day of trading....

I want you to literally scan from 'left' to 'right' as you view this chart.

Now look at the chart in March and notice there was TWO sharp spikes in price that sent OREO soaring through the $1.90 level...

Don't you dare stop reading now because here is the most critical part of this message that you will BENEFIT from...

April 16th OREO was priced around $1.30, exactly the same price as now. BUT.......just 2 short days later, the 18th shares of OREO went flying sky high again!

Hitting around $1.87 per share stuffing easy money in traders pocket once again...

It really CAN'T get any easier than this particular trade.

You really need to be grateful that I'm letting you in on this opportunity. Very few people will ever get a chance like this in life...

Few people know this, but Nevada has been home to some of the best producing oil wells in North America. Pay zones here can be enormous and when they're found, the production can set records!

In Nye County, the focal point of this report, one well alone produced a staggering 1.5 million barrels of oil in its first year of operation!

It became the top producing U.S. onshore well for the next four years... and it's still producing today!

With the prospects of a single well producing millions of barrels of oil... I've been studying activity around Nevada's Nye for early signs of the next big discovery.

The property lies just west of the Nye county well site and a small, unknown company has 13,667 acres on what geologists describe as being one of "the largest oil accumulations in the western United States."

Let me break this down.

Geologist Report #1:

kibby Flat Prospect, NV - American Liberty Petroleum's Kibby Flat Prospect is located in the southeastern part of Nevada's
Monte Cristo Valley, and represents estimated ultimate recovery as high as 669 million barrels of oil.

Holdings: 7,270 acres
Ownership: 75% Working interest; 63.375% NRi
Location: Monte Cristo Valley, Nevada (~135 miles southeast of Reno)

Estimated Ultimate Recovery: up to 669 million barrels of oil Expected Multiple Reservoirs: Tertiary sandstones, Tertiary
volcanics, fractured Triassic carbonates.

Recommended Exploration: 8,000 foot well to test the Tertiary Esmeralda Formation Nearby Exploration: #1 William Wright well
(a few hundred feet away); established presence of oil in Tertiary section.

Regional Production: Grant Canyon Field just over 100 miles east; produced 20+ million barrels of oil on only 300 acres

Geologist Report #2:

Gabbs Valley Prospect, NV - American Liberty Petroleum's Gabbs Valley Prospect is located on the Cobble Cuesta structure, a
faulted anticline estimated to represent reserves of 4+ billion barrels of oil.

Holdings: 6,397 acres (2,557-acre Gabbs Valley lease & 3,840-acre Cortez lease) Ownership: Gabbs Valley lease 75% Wi (63.375%
NRi); Cortez lease 60% Wi (48% NRi)

Location: Gabbs Valley, Nye County, Nevada (~140 miles southeast of Reno)
Underlying Structure: Cobble Cuesta faulted anticline
Estimated Structure Reserves: 4+ billion barrels of oil
Multiple Targets: Tertiary sandstones, Tertiary volcanics, fractured Triassic carbonates Onsite Exploration & Discovery: 3
wells drilled in Cobble Cuesta with hydrocarbon shows; with recovered oil.

Nearby Comparable: similar source rock in Grant Canyon Field; produced 20+ million barrels of oil on only 300 acres.

I will leave you with the following alarming message to think about and prepare yourself to saddle up for Monday and benefit!

History has proven that this particular 'secret currency' has amassed fortunes for those forward thinking people like yourself.

You can see clearly what OREO has to offer. Do you really think the price is going to stay at these levels?

You need a potential Winner like this very bad. Sitting on the sidelines and NOT researching OREO could come back to haunt you!!

For my stateside readers

The human capacity for self-delusion truly is remarkable.  Most people out there end up believing exactly what they want to believe even when the truth is staring them right in the face.  Take the U.S. economy for example.  Barack Obama wants to believe that his policies have worked and that the U.S. economy is improving.  So that is what he is telling the American people.  The mainstream media wants to believe that Barack Obama is a good president and that his policies make sense and so they are reporting that we are experiencing an economic recovery.  A very large segment of the U.S. population still fully supports Barack Obama and they want to believe that the economy is getting better so they are buying the propaganda that the mainstream media is feeding them.  But is the U.S. economy really improving?  The truth is that it is not.  The rate of employment among working age Americans is exactly where it was two years ago and household incomes have actually gone down while Obama has been president.  Home ownership levels and home prices continue to decline.  Meanwhile, food and gasoline continue to become even more expensive.  The percentage of Americans that are dependent on the government is at an all-time record high and the U.S. national debt has risen by more than 5 trillion dollars under Obama.  We simply have not seen the type of economic recovery that we have seen after every other economic recession since World War II.

The horrible statistics about the U.S. economy that you are about to read are not talked about much by the mainstream media.  They would rather be “positive” and “upbeat” about the direction that things are headed.

But lying to the American people is not going to help them.  If you are speeding in a car toward a 500 foot cliff, you don’t need someone to cheer you on.  Instead, you need someone to slam on the brakes.

The cold, hard reality of the matter is that the U.S. economy is in far worse shape than it was four or five years ago.

We have never come close to recovering from the last recession and another one will be here soon.

The following are 25 horrible statistics about the U.S. economy that Barack Obama does not want you to know….

#1 The percentage of Americans that own homes is dropping rapidly.  According to Gallup, the current level of homeownership in the United States is the lowest that Gallup has ever measured.

#2 Home prices in the U.S. continue to fall like a rock as well.  They have declined for six months in a row and are now down a total of 35 percent from the peak of the housing bubble.  The last time that home prices in the United States were this low was back in 2002.

#3 Last year, an astounding 53 percent of all U.S. college graduates under the age of 25 were either unemployed or underemployed.

#4 Back in 2007, about 10 percent of all unemployed Americans had been out of work for 52 weeks or longer.  Today, that number is above 30 percent.

#5 When Barack Obama first became president, the number of “long-term unemployed workers” in the United States was 2.6 million.  Today, it is 5.3 million.

#6 The average duration of unemployment in the United States is about three times as long as it was back in the year 2000.

#7 Despite what the mainstream media would have us to believe, the truth is that the percentage of working age Americans that are employed is not increasing.  Back in March 2010, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed.  In March 2011, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed. In March 2012, 58.5 percent of all working age Americans were employed.  So how can Barack Obama and the mainstream media claim that the employment situation in the United States is getting better?  The employment rate is still essentially exactly where it was when the last recession supposedly ended.

#8 Back in 1950, more than 80 percent of all men in the United States had jobs.  Today, less than 65 percent of all men in the United States have jobs.

#9 In 1962, 28 percent of all jobs in America were manufacturing jobs.  In 2011, only 9 percent of all jobs in America were manufacturing jobs.

#10 In some areas of Detroit, Michigan you can buy a three bedroom home for just $500.

#11 According to one recent survey, approximately one-third of all Americans are not paying their bills on time at this point.

#12 Since Barack Obama entered the White House, the price of gasoline has risen by more than 100 percent.

#13 The student loan debt bubble continues to expand at a very frightening pace.  Recently it was announced that total student loan debt in the United States has passed the one trillion dollar mark.

#14 Incredibly, one out of every four jobs in the United States pays $10 an hour or less at this point.

#15 Household incomes all over the United States continue to fall.  After adjusting for inflation, median household income in America has declined by 7.8 percent since December 2007.

#16 Over the past several decades, government dependence has risen to unprecedented heights in the United States.  The following is how I described the explosive growth of social welfare benefits in one recent article….

Back in 1960, social welfare benefits made up approximately 10 percent of all salaries and wages.  In the year 2000, social welfare benefits made up approximately 21 percent of all salaries and wages.  Today, social welfare benefits make up approximately 35 percent of all salaries and wages.

#17 In November 2008, 30.8 million Americans were on food stamps.  Today, more than 46 millionAmericans are on food stamps.

#18 Right now, more than 25 percent of all American children are on food stamps.

#19 According to the U.S. Census Bureau, today 49 percent of all Americans live in a home that receives some form of benefits from the federal government.

#20 Over the next 75 years, Medicare is facing unfunded liabilities of more than 38 trillion dollars.  That comes to $328,404 for each and every household in the United States.

#21 During the first quarter of 2012, U.S. public debt rose by 359.1 billion dollars.  U.S. GDP only rose by 142.4 billion dollars.

#22 At this point, the U.S. national debt is rising by more than 2 million dollars every single minute.

#23 The U.S. national debt has risen by more than 5 trillion dollars since the day that Barack Obama first took office.  In a little more than 3 years Obama has added more to the national debt than the first 41 presidents combined.

#24 The Federal Reserve bought up approximately 61 percent of all government debt issued by the U.S. Treasury Department during 2011.

#25 The Federal Reserve continues to systematically destroy the value of the U.S. dollar.  Since 1970, the U.S. dollar has lost more than 83 percent of its value.

But the horrible economic statistics only tell part of the story.

In communities all over America there is a feeling that something fundamental has changed.  Businesses that have been around for generations are shutting their doors and there is a lot of fear in the air.  The following is a brief excerpt from a recent interview with Richard Yamarone, the senior economist at Bloomberg Brief….

You have to listen to what the small businesses are telling you and right now they are telling you, ‘Hey, I’m the head of a 3rd or 4th generation, 75 or 100 year old business, and I’ve got to shut the doors’ or ‘I’ve got to let people go. And if I’m hiring anybody back, it’s only on a temporary basis.’

Sometimes they do this through a hiring firm so that they can sidestep paying unemployment benefit insurance. So that’s what’s really going on at the grassroots level of the economy. Very, very, grossly different from what you’re seeing in some of these numbers coming out in earnings releases.”

All over the country, millions of hard working Americans are desperately looking for work.  They have been told that “the recession is over”, but they are still finding it incredibly difficult to find anyone that will hire them.  The following example is from a recent CNN article….

Joann Cotton, a 54-year-old Columbus, Mississippi, resident, was one of those faces of poverty we met on the tour. Unemployed for three years, Joann has gone from making “$60,000 a year to less than $15,000 overnight.” Her husband is disabled and dependent on medicines the couple can no longer afford. They rely on food stamps, which, Joann says, “is depressing as hell.”

Receiving government aid, however, has not been as depressing as her job search. Joann says she has applied for at least 300 jobs. Even though she can barely afford gas, she drives to the interviews only to learn that the employers want to hire younger candidates at low wages.

The experiences have taken a toll: “I’ve aged 10 years in the three years that I’ve been looking for a job,” Joann told us. “I want to get a job so I can just relax and exhale … but I can’t. After a while you just give up.”

Meanwhile, Barack Obama and his family continue to live the high life at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer.

Even many Democrats are starting to get very upset about this.  The following is from a recent article by Paul Bedard….

Blue collar Democratic voters, stuck taking depressing “staycations” because they can’t afford gas and hotels, are resentful of the first family’s 17 lavish vacations around the world and don’t want their tax dollars paying for the Obamas’ holidays, according to a new analysis of swing voters.

It simply is not appropriate for the Obamas to be spending millions upon millions upon millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars on luxury vacations when so many Americans are deeply suffering.

But Barack Obama does not want you to know about any of this stuff.

He just wants you to buy his empty propaganda one more time so that he can continue to occupy the White House for another four years.

Michelle Obama's luxury Spanish vacation
Ralph Alter

When Marie Antoinette was told the peasants had no bread, her famous rejoinder was the suggestion to "Let them eat cake."

Pampered on the our tax dollars with a staff whose salaries exceed $1.6 million annually, Michelle Obama has not been unwilling to take maximum advantage of the perks of an unlimited expense account as first lady.
The latest report on Obama extravagance indicates that Michelle Obama will take a summer break with one of her daughters "in the company of old friends" on the Costa del Sol in Spain:
Michelle Obama has reserved 30 rooms for herself and her daughter, their friends and bodyguards at a five-star hotel in Benahavis near Marbella, hotel sources said.
How does anyone need 30 rooms for a mother-daughter trip?
Add this latest extravagance to the non-stop White House concert series that has included such pricey entertainers as Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett and Paul McCartney among very many others. Even were the stars to perform gratis,
Professional equipment needs to be brought in-sound engineers, stage lights, etc... Even small scale performances by these artists can be very expensive.
Add booze, food, security, invitations, social secretaries, wait staff and hangers on to the tab and the price for one of these events could top $75k. With over 27 concerts hosted thus far, the cost to the taxpayers is in the millions of dollars.....it has been estimated that the Obama White House spent at least $10 million dollars on "drunken White House parties" in 2009 alone.
Whether its $250,000 spent on a date night in New York, ordering carry-out pizza for 120 people from 850 miles away,or flying the family dog on a separate jet to join the Obamas on their 8th vacation since taking office, this time in Maine, it's clear that Barack and Michelle are living very large at the taxpayer's expense without so much as a second thought.
If either of them would settle down and actually do something productive for our nation they might have less time to spend blowing our money.

Here’s A Note That Michelle Obama
Might Have Sent To The Jobless
And Poor People Of The USA

"A Personal Thank You"
From Michelle Obama

Dear American Taxpayer

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand  dollars for my vacation in Spain .. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time.

Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close.  That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table  and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days!

Cordially,
Michelle Obama

P.S.

Thank you as well for the $2 BILLION trip to India we recently went on. Love ya, mean it.

P.P.S. We also had a great, great time in Hawaii ..... Remember the 2012 election is not too far away!!  It's you little people who make our lives so wonderful.

When to Buy and When to Sell.

Good Evening Traders,

**Not sure if an alert has been sent out yet? LOGIN FIRST and then click here before sending me an email Newsletter Archive - http://www.topstockpicks.com/newsletter/149/archive **

I had planned on doing a video tutorial tonight on "Bullish Candles" but after getting asked time and time again on "When do you buy and sell" I decided to switch gears and push the candle video to Thursday or Friday and attack the question above.

So how exactly do you know when to buy a stock and when to sell a stock? Let's take a closer look.
Buying Smart

Since you can’t sell it until you buy it, let’s talk about buying. When looking for my optimal buying point, I always check to make sure the stock has volume. For my buy to be accepted at the price I want, the stock has to be liquid enough to accept my buy amount without causing a spike in price (not to mention buying a illiquid stock makes for one hell of a time selling it as well.)

Also, be sure you are looking at the chart for validation and are hopefully buying at either a major support level or just as a major resistance point is being broken.

A further test, if you use Level 2, is before you pull the trigger check the "ask" side to make sure there isn't a huge wall standing in front of your current buy that might prevent the stock from moving higher. Once you see that last market maker being lifted away from that wall of resistance on the level 2, then hit that buy button and hope for the best!

Basically what I am getting at is to not buy a stock that has a ton of offers lined up at the current ask price because that may mean the stock won't continue to move up

Selling Smart

What most people fail to realize is selling is just as much of an art as buying is.

What people usually do to sell a stock is ...find the next resistance (for example stock ABC next resistance is @ .015) sell right BEFORE the resistance because stocks will usually hit resistance then fall DOWN. So sell right before resistance then buy back at support. If the stock breaks resistance then you buy after the bid side has broken the resistance and you ride it to the next level of resistance, with the old resistance now acting as support. And, the old support level is now “support level 2”.

So buy at:

1. support levels
2. breaks of resistance on the bid side (clearly, don't buy if the bid cracks resistance for 1 second )
3. when a stock is basing after a long downtrend and the bearish are done raining on the stock's parade

Sell at:

1. just prior to resistance levels
2. when your stock has lost support (then look to add at support level 2)
3. when a stock has formed a base then has lost that support
4. when your UP and have reached your profit target!!! Greedy traders often get caught (and killed) in a stock.

Support and Resistance 101

Support

1. Any prior lower low than the current price
2. Any moving average that is lower than the current price
3. A major resistance level that was broken to the upside and then comes down to this (old) major resistance level, this will now be support
4. Bottom channel lines

Resistance

1. Any prior higher high then the current price
2. Any moving average that is higher then the current price
3. A major support level that was broken to the downside and then comes up to this (old) major support level, this will now be resistance
4. Top channel lines

Traders must continue to hone their analysis skills, but once the trade is made the stakes are even higher. A proper understanding of when to buy or sell is a critical component of being a successful trader and making a lot more money.

Remember you can kick yourself for selling too early, but don't let indecision trap you in a stock that turns against you.  What I mean to say is "don't be afraid to lock in profits".  As you trade picks using my techniques, you will gain more and more confidence and find that you are capturing more of the gain and limiting your losses.  That discipline will make you a trader for life...not a trader until the money runs out.

Balong, you and I can agree about Obama. They need to get out and fast. Being very educated, he could have done a whole lot of good but no, he never takes personally responsibility. He's a great campaigner but sucks as a leader. They bash George Bush as being dumb but at least they were classy and at least, Bush made sure America was safe. Under Obama, there were already 3 attempts on American soil and counting !

Even a fellow democrat Clinton. At least, when the economy was lagging, they opted to promote vacationing within the US to boost the internal US tourism industry rather than go overseas. They set a good example for their people. With the Obamas, they remind me so much of a good number of Philippine Politicians. THey are good at promising but never good on fulfilling. :-(

like books, the best-sellers are not the best books out there but the most marketed books. it's all marketing trash.

Balong, we are on the same side,  I'd  mentioned Ron Paul   more than once diri sa TB.
He is  the only candidate that can really turn this country back on the right economic track, but unfortunately
most people are following the traditions of their parents; Democrats or Republicans.
As my husband  discussed about Ron Paul to one of our  elderly neighbor, this lady exclaimed and
said,"Oh, my grandfather will rise up from the grave if I stop voting for Republicans."....

Philippines erects wall to obscure view of slums
THE MESH REPORT STAFF MAY 2, 2012 COMMENTS (0)
MANILA, Philippines â€" Delegates attending an international conference in the Philippines capital may not see what they came to discuss: abject poverty.

A makeshift, temporary wall has been erected across a bridge on a road from the airport to downtown Manila that hides a sprawling slum along a garbage-strewn creek.

Presidential spokesman Ricky Carandang defended the wall’s installation, saying Thursday “any country will do a little fixing up before a guest comes.”

He expressed hope that this week’s annual meeting of Asian Development Bank Board of Governors, which includes finance ministers and senior officials from 67 member states, will show the Philippines is open for business. The lending institition, which is headquartered in its own walled compound in Manila, aims to cut poverty in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We need to show our visitors that Metro Manila is orderly. We owe it to ourselves,” said metropolital Manila chief Francis Tolentino.

“I see nothing wrong with beautifying our surroundings. We are not trying to keep the poor out of the picture,” he said.

There was no immediate comment from ADB.

The Philippine Communist Party recalled that former first lady Imelda Marcos â€" notorious for ostentatious lifestyle â€" was ridiculed for trying to hide squatter colonies. She erected similar whitewashed walls along the route of foreign visitors to the Miss Universe pageant held in Manila in 1974, and other international events.

“The government should face reality. If they don’t, how will they know the problem, how will they solve the problem,” said Renato Reyes, secretary general of the largest left-wing group Bayan. “By covering the truth, they lose the energy or intention to resolve the problem.”

About a third of Manila’s 12 million residents live in slums, and a third of 94 million Filipinos live below the poverty line of $1.25 a day. Overall, more than half the population in Asia remains poor.

Mas ajo pa ang pobre sa ato naa pay barong barong. Dere sa states ang mga homeless naa mag pojo under bridges, subways, .......bisan asa lang ;D
