Before the arrival of the Spaniards, my ancestors used to fish these waters for time immemorial. Before these shores were colonized, before the name "Valencia" was birthed, my ancestors called this area "Panangatan", the ancient name of what is now modern-day Valencia.

History is beautiful isn't it?
