I have a lot of acquaintances, but only very few close friends.

Most of my friends I've known for years and years...

i have so many acquaintances and had few good friends...

i have very few good friends for years ...

some passed already

and i have very few good friends that i only met recently...

i haven't even meet some of them but i can feel their genuineness ...

I have lots of acquaintances and friends - simple and real friends!

Every place I go, I leave behind friends that remain my friends up to now.  When I was in South Cebu, I gained a lot of friends - mostly farmers that I worked with in my project there.  I still call and text them from time to time especially one very beautiful lady, Manang Nessy.  She was a farmer and a cooperative movement leader. 

In Tubag Bohol, I gained much more real friends...

Lots of acquaintances but few close friends. Guys are like that. My current wife is my closest friend! Thanx to these social nets like classmates, myspace, friendster and especially facebook, I have regained contact with folks all the way back to elementary school, including the 1st real girlfriend I had back in JHS, after not seeing many of them for decades. A lot of my acquaintances now are virtual like yous guys here on TB, meaning I've never met them face-to-face...joey
