D to D Package or Better Cash?

Hapit na PASKO and the big question what to send to our relatives over there?
The ff.: items must be listed:

New pustiso for Lola?
Purol for Lolo?
Duster coat for Mama?
Jacket for Papa?

and what more for sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, Aunts, Uncles, friends and some others?

or....better send an amount to share for all their needs?  What is the best way you think thier PASKO be more merrier?

Cash na lang,para shopping-shopping nila.

ang sa akong grandparents (kay sila man ang nagpadako nako), brothers, sisters (sila man ang kaipon sa akong mga grandparents) magpadala mi ug box (foods, electronic items, ug uban pang wishes nila) then kuarta sad.  para sa ubang relatives, kuartahon nalang.  para sa akoang dapit mas nindot pod ug butang kay makita man unya naa pod handumanan.  lahi ra jud ang feeling kaysa kuarta nga pagkahuman nimo ug hatag mawala dayon (depende ra pod sa tao nga hatagan ug unsaon niya paggasto)

Both of you girls got the right ideas....

To transfer an amount it will help for the business trade over there.  And sending the Balixbayan box... they also need cash for some other impt. and materials things
which we forgot to pack. Well, i know they will not complain if both be done evey now and then, isn't?

I used to send cash for Christmas shopping pero ako pud sila gipa experience ug balikbayan box kay aron pud kasuway intawn ug unsa ang bation ug maka dawat ug package...Even if it's costly and stressful to send balikbayan box, the joy you brought to your loved ones is extraordinary.

So, ladies buy and pack everything what you will seen and discover on sale in every shopping center and collect it home and if u feel there is no more storage place then start packing those.  We need not to wait until X-mas.... anything are welcome from our love ones either it is not on Pasko time.
It is very interesting to observe and funny when they will do some exchanging method.  Am doing it  b4 coming for that time and pack it out as long as I am already there. They are really happy for simple little things lang.

That means double for next year, di ba?  Our relatives there are not also forcing us to send what we can't afford at the moment....cash will do
but it is always a question of our monthly budget, isn't?

Yes, but when I send package most of it are for my family's consumption/usage. Ang sa mga relatives, mga ginagmay lang patilaw aron pud dili mag mahay. So far, wala ra man pud ko kabati ug reklamo (which is good). But as I've said, stressful and costly kaayo kay di man pud ko mo padala ug unsa lang. What I'm thinking is puslan man nga nibayad ko ug mahal sa box, ako nalang pud suliton ang sulod.
