washing machine for pambahay, blankets, towels, anything that is heacy BUT hand wash for my panglakaw, underwear and socks!

washing machine, hands down.  those denims and blankets and curtains are now too much for me.  light and delicate clothes (like barongs) and those whose dyes are bleeders (like those thai tie-dyed dusters) that stain easily, these need to be handwashed.

(laundering is one household chore that i do myself and don't leave to the household help, who'll do the ironing anyway.)

washing machine, hands down.  those denims and blankets and curtains are now too much for me.  light and delicate clothes (like barongs) and those whose dyes are bleeders (like those thai tie-dyed dusters) that stain easily, these need to be handwashed.

(laundering is one household chore that i do myself and don't leave to the household help, who'll do the ironing anyway.)

it was unforgettable.  gigukod pa gyod mig boh-ang nga nagsiyagit-siyagit, arang panagan namo, puro mi luspad.  we were told later that he was harmless.  still we refused to go back to the brook.  other people retrieved our laundry for us.  

now all i wish for is for our little daughter to experience the same thing; the fun and carefree combination of outdoor chores and bath, when working turns into frolicking and bathing means crawling among weeds without a care.  wa lay labot unta ang pag-gukod sa boh-ang.
