What are the reasons you love the town (Lungsod) of Cortes?

Cortes in very near of from my barangay.In the early 60's, we hike going there during fiesta. What's new now in Cortes?

The last time i drove by Cortes, i noticed the growing municipality. They have a cool-looking 'municipio'. I did stop by their Catholic Church during my many cross-Bohol drives.

I was born there.

I graduated elementary over there.

My parents and siblings are there.

My relatives are there.

i always pass by at cortes everytime i have to criss cross tagbilaran and balilihan. sometimes i have to use the other route corella. i have friends and relatives living in cortes.

Cortes has a really good Ina nga panabang that I went to visit.

The original gifted Ina sa Panabang, Nanay Amen really helped the the needy. But even then, the daughter who runs the chapel is still very good woman. My family lives within the proximity of the Inahan sa Kanunay Panabang. She never fails me.

With that I would like to believe that our Lady Mayor is a breast cancer advocate or just putting a femimine touch. When she is done with her terms, I guess the next Mayor will paint the town blue. By then, i could conclude there exists comedy of colors in my hometown.
