Dumbest purchase you ever made?

a top-of-the-line u.s.-made vacuum cleaner.  truly expensive.  mahal pa sa brand-new nga pedicab sa ato, motorcycle included.  now it stands like a monument to my folly because even its bag is available only in the u.s. and i'm at the other side of the world.

Impulsively, I spent $650 worth of Christian Dior cosmetics because I was mad with my husband. I learned it the hard way that the only way to hurt him is to hurt his money. So every time we fight, I spend his money somewhere else. In turn, I got allergy on it, damaged my skin and now am using mixture of milk, honey, brown sugar, olive oil and lemon juice to restore my damaged skin. I am paying it dearly.

Another funny and dumbest purchase I made was pairs of Versace jeans I ordered online from Bergdorf Goodman, a sparkling orange satin jeans size 27  in 2001. I was so big then about size 14, and evidently I can’t use it. I hang it on my closet for 3 years, serving as an inspiration that one day I can wear it. I ended up selling it on eBay.

great.  thanks, ms da binsi!  i'll take you on that offer one day soon.  (glad you're back!  where have you been?  oh, yes, i've read your more recent rare posts.  but i'm glad you have more than the usual now.  you've got to believe that characters like you are necessary in tb, otherwise, this runs the risk of being less colorful!)
