Cell phones have invaded our classrooms and our bedrooms, our restaurants and our theaters, our offices and our streets.

CellPhones.org has put together a helpful list of cell phone etiquette tips.

Check them out below. Do you think there are others that belong on the list of cell phone 'dos and dont's?' List them in the comments section below


1. Lower your voice when taking calls  in  public.

2. Avoid personal topics when others can hear you.

3. Avoid taking calls when you already engaged in a face to face conversation.
   If you do take a call, ask permission of the people with you.

4. Avoid texting during face-to-face conversation.

5. Put your cellphone's ringer  in a silent mode when in restaurants and theaters.

6. Dont light up your phones screen while in the dark theater.

7. Hang up and drive.

8. Acknowledge the delay.

9. Dont use Google voice call screening with family and friends.

10. Dont blame other person for a dropped call.

11. Avoid looking things  up when in conversation.

12. Avoid inapproriate profile picture.

13. Be mindful about facebook tagging.

14. Observe the 10-foot Proximity rule.

hahaha.. paliti lang nat-cast ug bag-ong celfun... ;D

additional input.. di pod maayo ang celfun idulog  kay simbako naka silent unya kusog mo vibrate..delicado ug masuksok bisan asa.... ;D  basin moingon ang wife sa husband nga "hala dong ang cel nag vibrate nia nasu'd man diay sa ahong bilahan.." ingon pod ang bana "ari bi kay ahong kuoton.."... ingon pod ang wife .."ajaw pasagdi lang na... pagkuha nuo'g charger basin mag lowbat.." ;D ;D ;D

bitaw, naa man gud uban taw nga sobra ra ka OA ilang expectations. Gi report ko sa usa nako ka client sa akong broker sauna kay wala daw ko nitubag ug email for 3 hrs...gi kigwa, 4pm na bya sad sha ni email and wala sad ko sa office pasalamat gani shang kagwanga sha akong gi tubag pa abot nako sa amo.

with highest respect to  the "place of worship" bringing in of cellphones should be prohibited or if not it should be in silent mode...  madugangan lang atong sala ana esp pagbasa nato nga di diay si mrs. ang nag text....mangutana pa gyod ug "wer na u?"... : :D :D
