I shall wait for you.
Through the years,
through the plentiful tears,
I shall wait for you.

As the sun rises and beams glorious ray upon thy face,
As time continues, through the days, weeks, months, years,
If it takes that long, I shall remain constant,
as the Northern Star that guides souls back to port.
I shall wait for you.

Many fair ladies shall come to me,
Offer me their courting nature,
And incite me to write to them,
however, woman, I shall hold my pen.
I shall hold my heart.

For they do not and cannot compare to you.
I shall wait for you.
