A $544 million Dubai hotel primed to become the tallest in the world is set to open next year. The Ciel hotel in Dubai Marina will stand at 365 metres when completed, with 1,000 rooms on 82 floors.

Construction on the property is due to be completed early next year, with it due to open for business before the end of 2024. The National was invited on a tour to see how the project was taking shape and why people should be excited about the addition to Dubai's collection of hotels.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
