DID YOU KNOW:

When Luka Modric was 6, his grandfather was shot dead. His family became refugees, in a war-zone. He grew up to the sound of grenades exploding. Coaches said he was too weak and too shy to play football.

Luka Modric led Croatia to its first-ever World Cup final, won the Ballon d'Or, five Champions League titles with Real Madrid and many more trophies.

Now he has led Croatia to the semi-finals of World Cup 2022 at the age of 37.

What an inspirational story!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
