144 million pairs of sneakers That's how many our Triple-E class vessels can carry with a capacity of 18.000 TEU's (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) containers!

Upon delivery in 2013, our first Triple-E container ship, Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller, was the largest ship in the world with its 400 metres in length and 165.000 dead weight tonnage.

Maersk Historian, Charlotte Krog Andersen, visited M/S Museet for Søfart to talk to Curator, Thorbjørn Thaarup, about the evolution of container shipping while having a look at the 8 meter long model of our first Triple-E vessel displayed at the museum
