Uncle's Advice

[kiamoy]

I was in sixth grade back then..  Coming home from the grocery with mom, I saw my slam book on the table. A ball-pen inserted in the last page.. I opened and read what was written there.. From a distant uncle who was a stranger to me. I barely knew him.

He wrote;

Dearest Bem,
Realize the ways of the world. Understand it, towards a better you.
Uncle Lando

to a sixth grader, it made an impact on me..

He only meant it good for you.  Just bear it on mind as guidance throughout life endeavours, Kiam.  You are still very young and life doors are widely open, don't miss the best of all chances offered. THINK:  "Life is what we make it", dear little girl.
