Pagkatinuod kaayo! Mao bitaw nga ang "puasa" usa sa mga tenets in religious traditions.

Ang Kristiyanismo namugna ni Kristo, ang Budhismo ni Prinsipe Siddharta ug ang Islam ni Mahoma tungod sa kanunayong pagpuasa!

Ug tingali ang "Tubag Bohol ....." ni Ka Mike niadtong nalapsan siya ug gutom kay wala makapangompra sa iyang kinaham pagkaon sa Bangkok.

Busa kung sabog ka magpuasa, asa ra nang South Beach diet ug pugos nga ehersisyo .... pagka way kapoy sa lawas ug hun-ag pa imo salabutan!!

Varga, I tried Puasa for seven days. No solid food. Only water. That was in 2005. It was not for health reasons. It was a prayer-and-fasting commitment.

i also tried fasting but it was only for a day. but seven days? mura dli kaya sa ako powers.

south beach diet and fasting?
the same ra but different lang ang purpose!
fasting is for religious reasons while dieting is for health and personality development!

i do fasting... when i need discrnment to decide things or when i need guidance from the Lord.

fasting is also good because it cleanses not your body but also your spirit. you need to consult an expert before doing it.

mas grabe ang puasa nabuhat nako! 12 hrs ko wala nikaon ug solid foods pati tubig or any liquid foods...nagpainit lang ko sa deserto for almost 12 hrs under the heat of the sun with air temperature almost 55 degrees celcius! saman! kaya ninyo?

unya unsa ma'y imong gibati after sa imong fasting aside sa gutom?

katagsa ra mi kainom ug mais nga kape sa gagmay pa mi, mao nang ulit kaayo mi ug naa man gani. diha'y kausa akong manoy ni katkat sa abuhan para lang maka kuha ug kapeng mais, nahuwaran noon siya sa nag bukal nga kape...perteng pagka panit kay napaso iyang tiyan. tungod lang sa kapeng mais. ;D

Interesting. How did you survive the hypoglycemia, Mike? Were you also doing anything physical at such time?
