(The seventh victim of killing in Tagbilaran for the month of January alone)

Police are still clueless in their investigation into the killing of an active member of the City Task Force who was gunned down early Monday morning along Tabaco Street, this city.

The latest shooting incident is the seventh here since January 1. All cases are unsolved by the City PNP.

Police are still looking into possible motives of the killing of Honorato Laway, 51 years old, who was felled by still unidentified assailant just outside his residence in Tabaco Street.

According to SPO4 Justiniano Saco of the City PNP criminal investigation section, Laway was on his way home after his duty at the Tagbilaran City Port.

Laway was shot with a .38 caliber pistol through his back. He died on the spot.

SPO4 Saco said no witness have surfaced yet on the latest shooting incident.

Scary! whoever these people that kill anytime anywhere in Bohol, they must be REAL big time that nobody can touch them. Which means they must be protected by a highest authority/Offcials.

my condolences to the family of the victim. this news is indeed very alarming. I thought nga na linaw na ang tagbilaran, naa paman diay ghapon patay.. I agree with you B:), if these killers are still in Tagbilaran, roaming around freely just like law-abiding citizens, then for sure, they are protected by people with higher positions/authority.
I want to live by the moment and worry no more about my future because I know that God has already made the best plan for me. All I have to do is be faithful to HIM all the time. GOD rocks!

it's really so irritating... Killers live freely, while a lot of innocent people are dwelling in jails due to lack of money.

I personally think naming a street in Bohol Tobacco street sounds awfull.

There is no Tobacco grown on that street either.
It's not sso popular a road to roam on.

Anything in the general vicinity Cogon is spooky these days!
