Miriam not impressed with JLo

Nov 28th, 2012

Manila, Philippines â€" Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago attended the “Dance Again World Tour” of Jennifer Lopez Monday night at the Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay city but she was not impressed.

“I’m strictly a high brow girl. I like classical music opera and ballet particularly abroad. I went for exposure, total immersion. I was shocked beyond belief at the attack, assault on my ears,” she said.

“It was so loud and there were so many people and they stirred themselves into a frenzy. They were worshipping at the foot of someone who was no longer human, they transformed her, she morphed into a digital idol,” she said.

Santiago maintained that the Philippines could use more musicians, singers in the opera, ballet style.

“Let me just say I was not impressed. I have no ambition to becoming a sex kitten or assaulting people to deafness,” she said. (Mario B. Casayuran)

pili ka gid madam kun asa gid angid angid hang imon na pix

I don't know why Miriam is making such a big fuss about J.Lo's performance. It's obvious she doesn't know nothing about today's music.

I think we should consider ourselves lucky that a high profile international singer like J.Lo has picked our country as one of her destination of her world tour concert. If Miriam says she likes classical music, then somebody must have told her the wrong information what genre of music J.Lo is associated with.

di jud matag-an unsay moguwa sa baba aning halangdong senador...

torture her with JLo's music heheheheh... can't wait for her pickup lines about JLo.. heheheheh
