The US Government tagged Hurricane Sandy as the worst storm that hits the US in 100 years. But Sandy is nothing compared to Philippine storms. You know why? See this: http://www.typhoon2000.ph/stormstats/WorstPhilippineTyphoons.htm
Romans 10:9
"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

The cost on humanity by these storms is indescribable. Be they in the Philippines, or the United States, the presence of such storms reminds us of the awesome power of God. It is interesting -- i would like to put it in a certain perspective -- during safety and nonchalance of life, we feel secure and often find excuses not to pray. However, it is in times of natural disaster -- such as typhoons, hurricanes, and other natural calamities-- do we find ourselves kneeling before the Divine Throne of God for mercy and protection. Why is it that we cannot pray like this more often?

Ever wonder?
